Bouchaya's musical education began at the age of 5, first learning the basics of piano. At 10 years old, she picked up the guitar and she was her sole teacher for years, quickly becoming a talented guitarist thanks to her musical ear and dedication to practice. By 15, Bouchaya's musical skills spread across 7 different instruments while composing original music on both piano and guitar.
As an adult, Bouchaya studied under renowned composer/arranger/guitarist Dr. Richard Niles and has earned a certificate in Composition for Film & TV with the Berklee College of Music's online program. She just completed an internship with Film/TV composer Michael A. Levine (Kit Kat Bar Jingle, Cold Case, "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Lorde off of Hunger Games: Catching Fire) in Los Angeles California.
In June 2017, Bouchaya completed another round of courses through Berklee College of Music's online education program, this time in Audio Production for Video Games, expanding her knowledge of sound into another dimension.
